"To everything there is a season..."

Easter blessings!

Our beloved Margaret retired at the end of April. I’ve known her less than a year, but it is clear to me why she means so much to so many at All Saints and beyond. She has a huge heart, supports every ministry with careful attention, and is known and loved as the welcoming face of our church. It is impossible to replace her. Thank God, she is staying on as a parishioner, and as she says, her contact information is in the directory, so we know where to find her!

We are delighted to introduce our new parish administrator, SarahJean Bos. SarahJean will support us in-person and remotely. She has worked at Anglican and Episcopal churches. She has excellent administrative skills and an open, peaceful, kind personality. She will be a blessing to our parish. SarahJean will work eight hours a week through the summer—on Mondays mornings—and will add a second morning and 10 more hours per week starting in September. SarahJean will use Margaret's old email and phone number (allsaints16@gmail.com and the church's main phone number 802-862-9750).

I'll be in the office on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, and some afternoons. I often make pastoral visits in the afternoons. I will be happy to reserve time for you if you call ahead.

During this transition in the weeks ahead, you will see some changes. Many of them will be temporary, because we will get more help in September. Email SarahJean to request a printed or digital copy of the flow chart (excerpt shown below), that guides you to church leaders who will help you.

In place of full bulletins, we will use pew cards with the order of service with the Book of Common Prayer. I will lead instructed services on May 11 and 25 to reorient us to the Book of Common Prayer. Clergy and lay leaders will shepherd the flock through every service. If you’re sitting next to someone who can’t find the page, please help each other. We’ll provide the readings on inserts, like we do now.

If you have any questions or would like more support during this transition, please email the vestry at allsaintsvestry16@gmail.com. If you'd like to volunteer to be a welcoming presence at the front desk on Tuesday through Friday, please let SarahJean, Anne, or Peggy know.

We are profoundly blessed by those who serve the Church past, present, and future. Peace be with us all,

                                                                                                           Anne+

"Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing." - 1 Thessalonians 5:11

Margaret served the Church for 27 years and our lives have been enriched by her faithfulness. Thank you, Margaret!

Welcome, Sarahjean!
