Yolandé’s spiritual formation was shaped within the Anglican tradition from childhood through her teenage years. After relocating to the United States, she continued her faith journey in the Episcopal Church. From an early age, she carried a deep and enduring desire to know God. I remember asking, “Who is God?”— a question that has guided her life of faith.
Yolandé has been a devoted member of All Saints’ Church for seventeen years. During this time, she has served faithfully in a variety of ministries, including multiple terms on the Vestry, Lay Reader, Eucharistic Minister, Morning Prayer Officiant, Coffee Hour Hostess, Building Caregiver, and long-standing Prayer Group Leader. Serving the Church in these ways has been both a privilege and a vital part of her spiritual life.
Yolandé’s educational journey reflects her commitment to growth, service, and excellence. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Management, and Finance from Brooklyn College. She later pursued healthcare education, earning a Licensed Practical Nursing certificate from North Country Community College in Ticonderoga, New York. She also completed certification through Preaching Among Friends with Backstory Preaching, equipping her to serve as a Lay Minister. These experiences have strengthened her call to share God’s Word with humility and faithfulness. With over fourteen years of experience in the healthcare field, Yolandé currently serves as a nurse with the University of Vermont Health. In both her professional vocation and her ministry, she seeks to live out Christ’s call to compassion, service, and faithful stewardship.
